AB ATTACK
30-Minute Abs is a half hour of intense core work. Set to upbeat music, you’ll work your entire core and learn new exercises to help sculpt the body! This class is for all fitness levels, and is a great way to fit a quick but challenging workout into your busy day.
HIP HOP
Hip hop will consist of a cardio and strength focused warm-up, followed by a set combination/dance and ending with a stretch/cool down focused on flexibility.
JUJITSU
Wa Shin Ryu Jujutsu is a holistic, comprehensive system of unarmed combat and because of its battlefield origins may be described as the original integrated "mixed" martial art. The goal is to empower so that we can walk away with confidence, if that is deemed the appropriate response at the time. In the modern world an empowered martial artist is a type of person who, by having many options can make the choice to avoid/prevent violence, or when the situation demands can save himself/herself and others. Our instructor for this class is Baker Sensei, a 3rd degree black belt and licensed instructor in Wa Shin Ryu jujutsu, a traditional Japanese style.
YOGA
This method of yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures—a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.
STRENGTH & STRETCH
Strength and Stretch will focus on strengthening core muscles. The class will also utilize hand weights to strengthen upper body muscle groups. Stretching is a key element of any workout because it extends your range of motion allowing the muscle to get stronger while also decreasing muscle soreness.
KARATE
Tang Soo Do is a Korean form of karate, and a traditional striking art where students will learn to better their mind, body, and spirit through exercise and self-defense practice.
